Anmoore, WV, is a community in Harrison County three-miles southeast of Clarksburg, WV, on Interstate 79. The town's name was changed from Steelton to Anmoore in 1915. For many years Anmoore was an industrial center, and the Union Carbide Corp. operated a facility there. Today, the Anmoore area includes a popular shopping district adjacent to Bridgeport, WV.
