A community in Barbour County, Belington, WV, was incorporated in 1905 and named for John Bealing, its first postmaster. Belington is located on the Tygart River, 10 miles northwest of Elkins, WV. US Route 250 and WV Route 92 converge at the center of Belington. Audra State Park is located eight miles west of town; Teter Creek Lake WMA, 10 miles north.
