A community in northern Preston County, Brandonville, WV, was laid out in 1827, chartered in 1858, and named for Col. Jonathan Brandon, who built its first house. Brandonville is located on WV Route 26, one mile northeast of Bruceton Mills, WV, and Interstate 68.
