Camp Bartow

Following defeats at Rich Mountain and Corrick's Ford, the Confederate forces established Camp Bartow, in Pocahontas County. When Union forces attempted to take the Confederates' position, the Battle of Greenbrier River occurried, which resulted in the withdrawal of Union forces to Cheat Summit Fort.
