Camp Jones was a U.S. Army encampment established on Flat Top Mountain east of Flat Top, WV, during the American Civil War. No known ruins of the encampment are known to remain. The encampment area was located in the level tableland area near the junction of Flat Top and Ellison Ridge roads near the common corners of Raleigh, Summers, and Mercer counties.

In 1862 the 23rd Ohio Regiment was stationed at the camp under General Jacob D. Cox. Future U.S. presidents Rutherford B. Hayes and William McKinley were stationed at the camp. Hayes was then a major; McKinley, a sergeant. Cox, Hayes, and McKinley also became governors of Ohio.
