Daniels, West Virginia
Daniels, WV, (map), a community in southeastern Raleigh County about five-miles southeast of Beckley, WV, is perhaps best known as the location of Glade Springs Resort and its golf courses. Daniels and the Glade Springs area are among the most popular residential areas in Raleigh County. The region's woodlands and relatively cool summer temperatures have attracted many home buyers. Little Beaver State Park is also located at Daniels and helps protect the region's forest from over-development. Southern parts of the New River Gorge National River are also located near Daniels. Daniels is located olong U.S. 19 (US-19) between the waters of Beaver Creek and Little Beaver Creek, just north of Shady Spring Mountain.
