Falls of Seneca

The Falls of Seneca, or Seneca Falls, arise on Seneca Creek, in Pendleton County, near Seneca Rock, where the stream tumbles 50 feeet over a ledge. Seneca Falls is beloved for its wilderness locale -- a 5.5 mile walk through the Monongahela National Forest from the Seneca Falls trailhead on the forest road to Spruce Knob. Because the trail crosses the stream, the hike to the falls is best attempted in summer, fall, when waters on Seneca Creek are low.
