Fluted Rocks

From West Virginia (WV) Cyclopedia

At Fluted Rocks, overlooking the Potomac River, the resistant Tuscarora Sandstone is steeply inclined and has weathered into a series of columnar stratifications. Located just east of the junction of the Cacapon River and Potomac River: on WV 9, three-miles west of Berkeley Springs, WV, in Morgan County.
