Hundred, West Virginia

A community in Wetzel County, Hundred, WV, was incorporated in 1894 and named in honor of Henry Church, called "Old Hundred" and his wife, first settlers, who lived to be 109 and 106 respectively. Church had been a soldier in the British army under Cornwallis and was captured by American troops under LaFayette. The Fish Creek Covered Bridge is located off US-250 one mile south of Hundred.
