Kayford Mountain

Kayford Mountain, in northwestern Raleigh County, rises to 2,892 feet between the waters of the Coal River and Kanawha River. It forms the common border between Raleigh County and Fayette County and Kanawha County. The mountain has been devastated by mountaintop-removal mining.
