Kenna, West Virginia

Kenna, (Map (http://www.wvamaps.com/maps/index.php?place=Kenna&state=WV&lon=-81.6603&lat=38.6764&pop=0&elev=795&county=Jackson)), in southern Jackson County, is an unincorporated community, or hamlet, though formerly a small village. It is located along WV-34 northwest of Interstate 77 (I-77) exit 124.
The community is named in honor of John Edward Kenna. At age 28, Kenna was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, becoming the nation's youngest Congressman. At age 35, he became the youngest member of the U.S. Senate. His statue stands in the U.S. Capitol's Statuary Hall.
