MacArthur, WV, is a community in central Raleigh County named for General Douglas MacArthur. MacArthur is located approximately 4 m SW of Beckley, WV along WV Route 16. The community is largely residential and a suburb of Beckley, though it was formerly a commercial center for area mining communities.
