A community in Logan County, Man, WV was incorporated in 1918. Name derived from the last syllable of the surname of Ulysses Hichman, member of the House of Delegates from Logan County, 1866-1869. During construction of Man Hospital in 1954, a major Indian village occupied between 1450-1550 A.D. was unearthed.
