Man Indian Village

From West Virginia (WV) Cyclopedia

Located in Man, WV, between the present-day Man High School and Man Appalachian Regional Hospital, this village site was first unearthed during construction of the hospital in 1954. The Man site proved to be a major Indian village occupied between 1450-1550 A.D.
