Meadow Bridge, WV, in southeastern
Fayette County and joins the
New River in
Summers County at the town of
Meadow Creek, WV. According to historian James H. Miller, author of "History of Summers County, West Virginia" (1908), the creek takes its name from its source in the
Little Meadows, an "area of flat land mostly and great grass-producing country."
