Middle Keeneys Rapids

This Class V rapid in the Lower New River Gorge whitewater rafting area is composed of alluvial debris fanning out from the mouth of Keeneys Creek, on river-right. Middle Keeneys is located approximately one tenth mile downstream of Upper Keeneys Rapids and a slightly longer distance upstream of Lower Keeneys Rapids. The ruins of the ghost town of Keeneys Creek are located around the mouth of the creek on river-right.
