Mud River Covered Bridge

The Mud River Covered Bridge, at Milton, WV, in Cabell County, spans Mud River and is the sole example of a Howe Truss in West Virginia. An earlier covered bridge nearby was the scene of a military operation during the Civil War. The bridge was moved to its current location and renovated in 2002.
