Myles Knob, or Big Sewell Knob (elev. 3,460 ft.), is the highest for four important summits on Sewell Mountain in eastern Fayette County.

The knob, which rises more than 200 feet above the surrounding tablelands, was the site of a Confederate Army encampment during the Civil War, positioned in strategic opposition to a Union encampment on nearby Buster Knob (elev. 3,278 ft.), roughly a mile to the southwest. Battle was never engaged as rebel forces retreated southeast to the Big Meadows of western Greenbrier County.

Other summits on Sewell Mountain include Ford Knob (elev. 3,360 ft.), and Walnut Knob (elev. 3,442 ft.).
