Piney View, WV, is an unicorporated community in Raleigh County 4 m NE of Beckley on W.Va. Route 41. The community was named for its views of the gorge of the Piney Creek, a tributary of the New River. The community is three miles south of the Bechtel Family National Scouting Reserve.
