In eastern Summers County at Pipestem, WV, Pipestem Falls drops nearly 30 feet over a sandstone ledge on Pipestem Creek near the rear entrance to Pipestem Resort State Park. A pull-off along W.Va. Route 12 (WV-12) provides access to observation primitive observation areas for the upper and lower tiers of the falls. A historical marker stands at the falls parking area, which was once the site of a small wayside park.
