Pipestem Nature Center

The Pipestem Nature Center, at Pipestem Resort State Park, is open year-round and features regular displays of plant and animal life of the Pipestem area. Snakes, turtles, and a variety of other live wildlife are usually on exhibit. The nature center regularly hosts a series of nature-study programs lead by the Pipestem park naturalists and staff. The Harris Homestead, a reconstruction of the house, barn, and meat house, is located adjacent to the nature center. The Nature Center may be reached by phone at (304) 466-1800.
