Salt Sulphur Springs (

Monroe County southwest of
Union, WV. The community takes its name from
Salt Sulphur Springs, a mineral spring and antebellum resort now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. U.S. Route 219 (US-219) follows the valley of Indian Creek
Indian Creek through the community. Many stone structures of built in the early 1800s still stand at Salt Sulphur Springs.
