Terry Limestone

From West Virginia (WV) Cyclopedia

The fossiliferous Terry Limestone, of the southern New River Gorge region, takes its name from outcrops on the opposite side of the New River from Terry and can generally be found 10 to 15 feet below the base of the massive Princeton Conglomerate Sandstone. The Terry ledge contains many marine fossils in the southern gorge, notably shells of Lingula and crinoids.
