Tri-State Racetrack & Casino, at Cross Lanes, WV, in Kanawha County, will become a fully operative casino in autumn 2008. The track and gaming center features greyhound racing daily and 90,000-square-feet of gaming space with 1,800 machines. The facility offers five restaurants, and plans for a hotel development are being pursued. Tri-State is situated along Interstate 64 (I-64) between Charleston, WV, and Huntington, WV, in the central Mountain State. The facility was formerly known as "Tri-State Racetrack & Gaming Center."
