Watters Smith Memorial State Park (map (http://www.wvamaps.com/maps/index.php?place=Watters%20Smith%20Memorial%20State%20Park&state=WV&lon=-80.4114&lat=39.1694&pop=0&county=Harrison&elev=0&scale=3)), in Harrison County, south of Clarksburg, WV, preserves the homestead of pioneer Watters Smith, who settled here in 1796. A log cabin, built in 1876, has been restored as a museum. A third museum building houses artifacts of pioneer agriculture in West Virginia.
