Restored homestead at Watters Smith State Park

Watters Smith Memorial State Park (map), in Harrison County, south of Clarksburg, WV, preserves the homestead of pioneer Watters Smith, who settled here in 1796. A log cabin, built in 1876, has been restored as a museum. A third museum building houses artifacts of pioneer agriculture in West Virginia.
