In Weston, WV, in Lewis County, the Weston Downtown Historic Districts helps preserve the commercial architecture of this town on the upper waters of the Monongahela River. The Weston State Hospital, formerly the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, established in 1864, overlooks the town.
