Wilson's Fort

Here settled Captain Benjamin Wilson (http://www.wvexp.com/index.php/Benjamin_Wilson) in 1772, commanding the Wilson, Friend, and Roney forts. He had the Westfall, Haddan, and Currence forts built in 1774. Wilson's Fort was an important military post, and the first county court met at the fort.
