Berkeley Springs State Park

Berkeley Springs State Park (map), in Berkeley Springs, WV, in Morgan County, protects the mineral springs of this first American counterpart to Bath, England. Surveyed by George Washington in 1784, "Ye Fam'd Warm Springs" became a health resort after the American Revolution. Access to the springs and water is free. Thirteen roman baths and five conventional tubs are provided guests for a nominal charge.
