Gaming in all its forms is popular in West Virginia. Two full gambling casinos and two "racinos" operate in West Virginia. The West Virginia Legislature recently permitted counties to allow table gaming. As a result, two casinos have been established in the northern panhandle at established racing tracks, and more are expected in other areas. Video-poker cafes may be found in nearly every community.
